Orthopedic Surgeries & Treatments

With years of expertise and specialization in the most cutting-edge orthopedic surgeries and treatments, Dr. Burke Orthopedics provides the best orthopedic care for our patients. These specializations include but are not limited to:
MACI Procedure
MACI Procedure (autologous cultured chondrocytes on porcine collagen membrane) is a form of Stem Cell Therapy for knees. It is a surgical option indicated for cartilage defects in the knee when more conservative interventions such as physical therapy or steroid injections have failed to relieve pain..
MRI-Radiology
Special radiology scans take a deeper look at the musculoskeletal system so Dr. Burke can recommend the most beneficial treatment depending on the results. A physical examination shows some symptoms of specific orthopedic conditions, but technological imaging reveals the exact location and problem within the body.
Arthroscopy
This minimally invasive type of arthroscopic surgery reduces the trauma to the surrounding structures of the ankle, elbow, knee, or shoulder joint and it minimizes the post-operative pain. Most arthroscopic procedures can be done as an outpatient surgery where there is minimal blood loss and the environment is under control of Dr. Burke Orthopedics.
Joint Replacement
Orthopedic specialists like Dr. Burke understand what the joints, bones, and muscles need to fully recover. Our physical therapy (PT) services benefit patients throughout their recovery. Before any treatment takes place, patients should schedule physical therapy appointments with a physical therapist that will work with their schedule.
Physical Therapy
One form of treatment that Dr. Burke Orthopedics offers is joint replacement or arthroplasty. This reconstructive procedure comes in two forms: total replacement and partial replacement. Both forms of arthroplasty have a single goal, which is enhancing the patient’s range-of-motion without painful symptoms.
